Did you find that with 2.4.2 that the X hang went away? If so, we may
be able to SRU that specific fix into Intrepid, but it is too late to
introduce a new version of the -intel driver into Intrepid.
For Jaunty, shortly we'll be merging the 2.5 driver from Debian.

locks up, after login in through gdm) remained.

file from after reproducing this issue. If you've made any customizations to
your /etc/X11/xorg.conf please attach that as well.
