This still occurs in 8.10. Interestingly Konqueror can only display the
man-page if manpages-dev is installed.
So it looks for me like a parsing error or something similar. There is only the
string ", FILE *" missing in the middle.

Is this symptom still reproducible for you in 8.10 or 9.04? Using
9.04's manpages-dev, this is not reproducible (as you allude to in the
latter part of the report).
