totem shows videos decolorized
To manage notifications
i get the same problem... I run an NVIDIA card with the proprietary
hardware and I've been seeing this issue since the last ubuntu release.
If i reboot GDM everything is OK till I try to open VLC or a MKV with
Xine then everything gets decolorized in that weird green tone.
I just did a fresh

well let me explain why i got into that confusion of totem/vlc ...
the thing is that if i restart my laptop, and open the video using vlc the
color is perfect, but if I open it with totem, the video is decolorized and any
video i open after then with totem or vlc, gets decolorized.
