Patrick, the problem was not the double slash but rather that it tried to create the directory with the basename (ie. the filename) and in /usr/share instead of $HOME. However, this has been fixed for debian and Ubuntu since version 0.1.2-3. ** Changed in: screenlets (Ubuntu) Status: Triage

This problem has been fixed in newer versions of WallpaperClockScreenlet.py. The problem in this version is line 64 of WallpaperClockScreenlet.py which states "os.mkdir(self.mypath + '/wallpapers/' + basename)" The slash after wallpapers needs to be removed so that the line is this instead "os.m
