Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-do
Attempting to open a directory such as "~/" or "~/Desktop" doesn't work as of recent times. Gnome-Do recognizes that it is a directory and offers to open it, but it silently fails. The terminal output is: Error showing url: Error stating file '/home/yelena/~/Desktop': No such file or directory It seems to be expanding it and then appending the entire entry. In addition, the error perhaps contains a typo, where "stating" should be "starting". Thanks! :) ** Affects: gnome-do (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- does not properly expand ~/ https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/280540 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
