I have a Sony Vaio VGN-FW245 with HDA Intel ALC262 onboard sound. Right after upgrading to Jaunty, my sound still worked. However, after another update, all sounds are now static, including the login sound. I tried aplay and also got nothing but static. I uninstalled the vlc- plugin-pulse and th
