I'm having the same problem. Could it be related to the canberra-gtk-
module error that I get when I launch the page from a shell?
Terminal output:

I'm not certain whether the fault lies in the flash plugin itself, or in
NBC's javascript. In any case, it is not actually related to
flashplugin-nonfree, which merely installs the flash plugin and is
working properly. It needs to be forwarded upstream to Adobe.
