works again.

can you track down what date this occurred on and what packages you
might have installed on that day? If you can't remember the package it
may be possible

Yes I know, but I dont remeber and dont now if it possible to get som
history for installed packages.
Tough I specially remeber something made apt remove ubuntu-deskop with
some packages and made me unable to login to gnome. That one got fixed
by reinstalling ubuntu-desktop meta-package, but
