I compiled gvfs from another computer,
In gvfs-ls.c:143, g_file_enumerate_children returns NULL when it's given
computer: as the input.
Don't know what this function does, it's in the gio library I think.

I am using vnc4server to login, I'd like to use x11vnc but there's a bug
there that makes it unusable, bug #247669 and the source package to
x11vnc doesn't compile, it is missing various Makefile.in files.
When you login with vnc4server, dbus may not run and DBUS_SESSION_BUS_ADDRESS
is not set.

Same for me. I had upgraded from ubuntu 6lts to 8lts.
When i run nautilus / from the command line it works fine.
clicking on places network also returns the same error.
I've read in other places that you need to reinstall gvfs but how do I
do that without having to reinstall the entire
