Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gedit

I just installed 8.10 live CD from 12/10/2008 and I wanted to edit my menu.lst
file to decrease the 10s delay and when I saved the file gedit started throwing
errors in the terminal. The changes to the file were saved but those errors
shouldn't be there.
Here is the output:

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ sudo gedit /boot/grub/menu.lst

** (gedit:5815): WARNING **: Could not write gedit state file: Failed to
create file '/root/.gnome2/gedit-2.DJS7IU': No such file or directory

I/O error : No such file or directory
I/O error : No such file or directory
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$

Can someone have a check on this and see if it is also happening?
