Possible remaining bugs, according to the report: 1. Running pand says "please install bluez-utils" according to the first comment. This does not agree with my experience, where running pand on Intrepid says "pand: command not found" and doesn't suggest installing any package.

I reckon the the goal is to use NetworkManager to talk with Bluez (via DBus), but the NetworkManager doesn't have proper support for bluetooth PAN/DUN yet. As for "just work" bit - NetworkManager should automatically discover available interfaces of the paired bluetooth devices. This is just my gu

hidd, dund and pand binaries from bluez 3.x series have been deprecated in favor of new bluez 4.x framework where things should "just work". If you still need pand binary, try installing bluez-compat (from universe repository). Does this solve your issue? ** Changed in: bluez (Ubuntu) Sourcepacka
