I'm with unggnu, previous openvpn connection in intrepid worked ok but

Type: Cerificates (TLS)
provided the 3 files for User, CA and Private Key, typed in my password
everything else left at default (will try setting routes sometime)
Worked out of the box (Jaunty upgraded from hardy aft

change.

I also have this problem, but only if I very quickly after startup try
to connect to my VPN. After few failed attempts it will eventually
succeed.
On the other hand if I wait a while after startup before connecting,
then the first attempt will succeed.

debugging output, so you had something to go on (not that it helped
much).

i'm still having this problem in jaunty. I'm connection toa openvpn server with
certificates which don't have passwords.
Is there any workaround?

I also have this problem, but only if I very quickly after startup try
to connect to my VPN. After few failed attempts it will eventually
succeed.
On the other hand if I wait a while after startup before connecting,
then the first attempt will succeed.

encountered the same bug in Jaunty, even with up to date PPA packages.
vpnc seems to work from the command line just fine, but the network
manager applet continually gives a "The VPN connection '' failed
because there were no vali
