I've tested the UMTS card with 32bit version of Ubuntu 8.10. Here, the
card works sometimes (very strange). It works only if the following
conditions are given:
* the laptop is fresh started (means, no wake up from sleep mode was done)
* mobile network is available

Ubuntu is final now, third kernel update is installed, but I cannot use my
PCMCIA UMTS card yet :(
