Icon changes don't get detected for some reason (at least with a new desktop as
suggested earlier), name changes get applied (name changes after icon changes
also trigger the icon change to be done).
Very minor issue in my opinion. Should be forwarded to the folderview plasmoid

I discovered that this happens with the default Desktop folder view
widgets that comes with a fresh KDE install. Can you please test by
creating a new user and check with the default Desktop widget it has?
