5.1 is current. The packaged is Version: 4.7.6-1. The inevitable
update is not trivial.
The dependencies are awkward at best. apache, php, mail agent and
database should be install choices.

Hmm... I sort of expected this to be fixed by dapper (ie, have a 4.7.x
package) or at least have the package in dapper marked as conflicting
with php5. This is still an issue, and dapper will happily let you
install Drupal and php5, which doesn't work at all.
