failed autodetection." As I mentioned, I altered my xorg.conf file
shortly after installing Hardy, and Intrepid was an upgrade via Update
Manager, so I believe it remained as I left it. The graphics work now,

altered my xorg.conf to use the vesa driver. The LiveCD might fail
again... would that produce a proper output for you?
