Public bug reported: Binary package hint: usb-creator
I have a usb drive that I always carry with me, and I want to give it two uses: -to use it as a live disk. -to carry personal data. But when I want to open some of my personal files from someone else's computer and put it my usb, wubi always tries to auto-run. This may be suspicious or even alarming to some people, having some program autorun when they just wanted to open a pdf file. Would it be possible to add a checkbox with the text "open the installer when inserting the disk into a running windows computer", so unchecking it would still let me manually run wubi AND boot the system from the disk, but NOT run wubi automatically? ** Affects: usb-creator (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Option not to auto-run wubi https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/285823 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
