this seems to be a problem with Firefox, I have had this annoyance in
version 3.0 since installation on Mandriva 2009.
other web browsers without problems.
briefly what happens:
after right click on a mouse standard menu fails to activate, instead other
unrelated menus or applicatlions are
it happened to me also in Ubuntu 9.04 when i do a right click on a icon
of a link (under the address bar ) in order to open it in a tab it
closes firefox automatically

I am still experiencing the same thing on occasion; it tends to happen
because of where the cursor is the menu would pop up in a certain
orientation and autohighlight the thing that gets clicked in this bug.
Much of the time it opens up send link and thus evolution, or tries to
download it. It
I have this same issue both with 8.04, and now with 8.10. This occured
on a FRESH install (not an upgrade) of 8.10, as well as a clean install
of Firefox (with no addons).
