I got the exact same error message when I mistyped a command. This must
have something to do with the non-standard (i.e. non US) locale. I've
got Hardy installed entirely in Polish (for my mom), but I got this
while logged in as myself. I changed my user's locale to US English.

I'm sorry, but I cannot reproduce the bug myself. I think the
frostwire-package was broken, because after reinstalling frostwire the
bug was gone.
