Flash drive automount issues 8.10
My usb 5 flash drives are seen by notifier and I can copy from them, but
I cannot write to them, can anyone help me, what am I missing?? The
message I get when trying to unmount is
Hal.Device.Volume.NotMountedbyHal: Device to ummount is not in
/media/.hal.mtab so it is not mounted by hal

Yep, I can confirm the same problem. I do not have this issue on 8.04
but it surfaced on 8.10.
I'm using the latest Sony flash drive (4GB SONY Click) which has a
Samsung chip in it. The current workaround is to use the Partition
Editor to mount the drive manually, however I do hope that the
