I believe that this is also affecting me, though consistently rather
than intermittently. The USB flash disk has 128MB of storage and is
formatted as FAT. It mounted fine with Feisty and Gutsy, but broke with
Hardy. I'm now running Ubuntu 8.10 (Intrepid) Server AMD64 and it
remains broken.
I suspect this is not a bug in usb-creator. Can you elaborate on the
exact problem that is occuring please? Are disks modified by usb-
creator not automatically mounting anymore, or are all disks, regardless
of whether or not usb-creator has modified them, not automatically
mounting?

Yeah, I don't have this problem anymore. Last time when I installed
Intrepid from usb-creator it looked like the naming of all my devices
were switched around and I couldn't mount usb disks as a result (didn't
try CD's).
