Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gparted

This is with gparted 0.3.8-1ubuntu2 on intrepid.

I resized a fat32 partition on an external firewire drive. It completed
the actual resize, and was in the stage of "growing" the filesystem.
This seemed to be taking forever and I left it overnight. The next day
gparted had died and I have some output (attached) since I ran it from a
terminal.

The fat32 partition had been mounted by this stage - I think after
dosfsck completed. It didn't sound good that it was still busy but on a
mounted partition. The partition seems OK - the data is apparently all
right.

** Affects: gparted (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
