Public bug reported:

Hello,

I upgraded from ubuntu 8.04 to ubuntu 8.10, but I experience some
problems with nautilus. After I logged in to a gnome session, no desktop
icons show up and the cursor keeps "loading". And dozens of windows with
the title "Starting File Browser" are opened.

I opened a shell, typed "sudo killall nautilus" and they disapperead.
But I can't start nautilus it throws me this error:

Initializing nautilus-share extension
seahorse nautilus module initialized

** (nautilus:8582): WARNING **: Unable to add monitor: Nicht unterstützt
nautilus: symbol lookup error: nautilus: undefined symbol:
pango_layout_set_height

GNOME nautilus 2.24.1

libpango is installed....

Thanks for any help!
