Thanks for your work, and the patch, but USE_EMERALD actually _is_
user-modifiable. After setting the defaults at the top of the script,
the compiz-decorator script sources the files
$XDG_CONFIG_DIRS/compiz/compiz-manager and
$XDG_CONFIG_HOME/compiz/compiz-manager. Any variables
