Hi there,
I use Ubuntu Server 9.04 with dual NIC Intel 82575EB (igb); seems there is

Please help me solve the issue through thread in:

I experienced this bug installing 8.10 server amd64 release from CD.
Judging from Tim Gardner's fix, the problem is that igb module is
missing.
Is there a workaround that I can specify during the install to get it to
work, until Tim's fix is available? When will Tim's fix make it into the
CD image

By the way, the same problem occurs with the ubuntu amd64 image from
20081022.1. Just to make sure the network controllers aren't being
detected, here's the output of "ip link show" on the server:

Hi Marc,
Is it possible to grab any dmesg output from the machine? Also, just
curious if this also happens when installing from a CD?
