well, the iwl3945 drivers really have some strange issues. in hardy we
had some scary hacks in NM ... but thats not a solution and also caused
issues for others. Have you tried the packages as suggested in the

Indeed, it looks similar, but I'm not sure it is "only" a kernel bug: on
hardy, using the SAME kernel, the problem is only present if I use
network-manager 0.7
