This bug is still present in Karmic release. After discussion with asac and dcbw, nm-applet would need to interface with PolicyKit to know the state of sessions and "release" the DBUS name to let the new session open nm-applet. I thought I had seen this bug before -- this is likely a duplicate, bu

I've confirmed that this behavior is still present in Karmic beta 1. To reproduce: 1) Set up two user accounts. Give both administrative privileges, and the privilege to "Connect to Wireless and Ethernet networks". 2) Log in as either user. 3) Without logging out, switch to the other user. The
