Public bug reported: Binary package hint: evolution
Browse path ~/.evolution/signatures In evolution: Edit-> Preferences->E-mail Accounts->(select one)->Edit In the Identity-tab click "Add New Signature" As you can see when clicking the "Add New Signature" button a new file "signature-n" is created in ~/.evolution/signatures. If you click "Close" (no save) the file is still there using 0 bytes. Seems like garbage to me. IMHO the file should be temporary and removed on "Close" Regards, Hansa ProblemType: Bug Architecture: i386 Date: Tue Oct 28 12:34:51 2008 DistroRelease: Ubuntu 8.04 ExecutablePath: /usr/bin/evolution NonfreeKernelModules: bc_cast bc_rijn bc_idea bc_3des bc_bf128 bc_bf448 bc_twofish bc_gost bc_des bc_blowfish bc nvidia Package: evolution 2.22.3.1-0ubuntu1 PackageArchitecture: i386 ProcEnviron: PATH=/usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/sbin:/bin:/usr/games LANG=en_US.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: evolution Uname: Linux 2.6.24-19-generic i686 ** Affects: evolution (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-bug -- "Add New Signature" leaves empty file on close https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/290260 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
