The Apple Macbook Pro 2G (Core 2 Duo, late 2006) has a Atheros AR5008
chipset.
On the madwifi web site, this chipset is said to be supported by the
ath5k driver, but the Intrepid Ibex RC installs the ath9k driver
instead. And the wireless connection doesn't work, or nearly.
