Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been
any activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue
for you. Can you try with the latest Ubuntu release? Thanks in advance.

Hi, Michael,
Thank you for your fast response.
I have already have the latest procps (procps_3.2.7-9ubuntu2_amd64.deb)
installed. Actually I always keep my system up-to-date. Round about 2
or 1 week(s) ago, the problem began to annoy me, but later after some
certain update, the problem went away
Thanks for your bugreport.
I don't think this is a bug in update-manager. It might be a issue with
tcp timestamps that got recently fixed in procps, please check if you
have the latest procps (1:3.2.7-9ubuntu2) installed on the ubuntu
machine.
