I have had the same problems. I immediately saved my xsession-errors
file off when this happened to me recently. Attaching a copy..

I'm having the same problem with the same graphics card, and 4 monitors.
I've confirmed this bug only occurs when Xinerama is on.

Correction: the bug occurs with both twinview and 4-separate-screen X
configs. I'm now testing twinview without Xinerama enabled. This could
possibly be a Xinerama+Xorg+mouse issue.
