Binary package hint: compiz
When I enable visual effects and run Urban Terror 4.1, the screen
flickers and my mouse gets locked. The game starts, but I can see my
desktop wallpaper whenever such a flicker happens, which is between 3x
per second and 1x in 3 seconds ...so it's not very regular. Though the
mouse is not usable, I can still use my keyboard to exit the game. Back
on the desktop my mouse works.
This problem doesn't occur everytime I run Urban Terror, but in 4 of 5
times. And even for the 4 times when it happens, my mouse is not
completely locked, it sometimes works for some seconds - just between
one flicker and the next flicker. I can press <Alt>+<Tab> to force a
flicker, wait for the next flicker, which activates my mouse. However,
the flickering doesn't stop and my mouse is locked again after the next
flicker. And so on, and so on.
There's no enty in dmesg. My graphics driver is 'nvidia'. And there's no
problem at all when I disable visual effects.
