I'm closing this report for Intrepid because it reached end-of-life on
30 April 2010. xfce-mcs-manager was removed in Jaunty.

[intrepid] Multimedia keys don't work if xfce-mcs-manager is not installed
Hi,
I just opened a bug report for an other issue with multimedia keyboard
in hard. There I discovered that some patch (01_volume_hotkeys.patch) is
applied to the sources of the xfce4-mixer from Gusty on to Intrepid to
enabled mm keys by default. Since in this patch the key codes are hard
coded
Invalid for jaunty, xfce-mcs-manager is deprecated.

In fact, xfce-mcs-manager must be installed and running, otherwise, no
