but only the pointer. No eraser. To enable the eraser you have to modify

It is enabled by default, but works only if you have a USB device.
Serial devices can't be hotplugged. Attach the output of 'lshal' when
the tablet is plugged.
We are not going back to the old way. Jaunty will have a proper GUI to
configure the devices when hotplugging doesn't work.
