I am using a Lenovo T400 with following video hardware:

00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation Mobile 4 Serie Chipset 
Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 07)

Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 07)  


The operating system is Linux 2.6.27-7, Kubuntu 8.10. X system automatically 
selected i915 for my hardware driver. The xorg.conf is attached. I use KDE4 as 
window manager, and started desktop effects with OpenGL.

When google-earth started, the computer freezes, will not respond to
anything except poweroff button. Thus I cannot give any further details
about this crash.
