Thank you for reporting this issue about xserver-xorg-video-nv. Starting
with Lucid, Ubuntu is transitioning to using the -nouveau video driver

That is an incorrect way to update the bug tags. Rather than removing

I have a RIVA TNT PCI card and I am having the same issue. The display
resolution on the command line level is extremely large and uncentered.
Can you currently go to the command line level and have the characters
displayed normally? (Alt-F1)
