Public bug reported: Binary package hint: kdepim
Previous versions of KDE (Gutsy and Hardy) had my LDAP contacts working fine. I just did a fresh install of Intrepid, and reading from LDAP still works (I can see and use my contacts) but if I try to save a change or a new contact, it hangs. If I'm making a new contact, the contact appears in the left pane, but all of kontact becomes unresponsive and if I kill and restart kontact my changes are gone. The LDAP server is mine, so I have access to the logs, and I see nothing interesting - the bind is successful, but I knew that when I saw my contacts in the first place. I haven't been able to get any output by running kontact or kaddressbook from the command line. ** Affects: kdepim (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Attempting to write to LDAP resource hangs Kontact https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/292485 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
