Public bug reported: Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-ati
Under Ubuntu 8.10, using xserver-xorg-video-ati, I can only use one of my two monitors, the one on the DVI output. The screen resolution program (gnome-display-properties) does not detect either monitor type at all. All of this works correctly with the ATI proprietary driver under Ubuntu 8.04 (using ATI's screen controller, not gnome-display- properties).
