I tried the crashing PS file posted by the original submiter and it
didn't crash on Jaunty (libcairo 1.8.6-1ubuntu2).
Document loading seems to be faster too. :-)
The bug 312989 is also fixed. Great! :-D

occur in PutSubImage at ../../src/PutImage.c:823 (into the libx11
library).
