disabling the desktop effects works! don't actually know why it does
though, but it works definitely works.
however I am too fond of the desktop cube, therefore I still rather
pressing the F11 button whenever I start firefox:)
I didn't find a change default viewing mode in firefox, and View --
mvo, didnt we fix something similar a few weeks back?

Just after the start of the Firefox, go to the option or preference page
and change the viewing options.
when i was with the gutsy it worked out fine.
