What do you exactly mean that Ubuntu-it menu can't be configured to English?
Ubuntu-it Menu is an italian-specific firefox extension that is shipped with 2
locales: italian (it-IT) and english (en-US).
Firefox will automatically choose the correct locale.

not sure what the use case of english for -it is ;) ... i think volans
planned to come up with something that isnt depending on special
languages. even a online service was discussed ;)?
