Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: worldwind

I have installed Worldwind ver. 0.5.0-1. I'm running Ubuntu 8.10. I
have sun-java6-jre installed. Worldwind runs without error messages
using the default example, and the window with image of earth appears,
but it responds very slowly to any input. It takes about 3-4 seconds to
respond to any input, including a mouse drag to move the position of the
earth, or a click to change a layer selection. The response to a mouse
drag is a sudden change in position of the earth image. There is no
appearance of movement. It is the same behavior I experience when
trying to run the java version from the NASA website.
