I have the same problem.
1. Subscribe to a podcast channel
2. You get the list of the avalaible chapters
3. Once you download one, you get as title the name of the mp3 file.
Ubuntu version: 8.10

I have just three podcasts,from to radio channels, and all of them show
this behavior, so I for me is a reproducible bug.
