Thank you for your suggestion. However, I'm trying to use the latest stable Smplayer (0.6.4) and it has been asking me for the latest mplayer to run at full capacity. I reported a bug because a simple package install (liblame0) was giving me an error; if I can get liblame0 to install correctly,
