Public bug reported:
I have two keyboard with different layout: the laptop keyboard is an
italian keyboard, while an external keyboard has US layout. I added two
different keyboard layouts in the gnome settings and until this step all
is ok. But using the proper applet to switch the layout this changes
just for few minutes, then switching from windows or opening a new
application the layout go back to the default layout.
