Public bug reported: Binary package hint: libjogl-java
When I try to run a java 3-D application (Worldwind, Virtual Ocean) using java webstart, I get no 3-D acceleration. The 3-D object moves only once in 3-4 seconds when I try to move it with the mouse. Keyboard input also takes several seconds to take effect. I have a Nvidia GeForce4 MX 4000 video card, 64 MB memory. Direct rendering is enabled. Driver version 96.43.09. Glxgears gives 500 to 1200 FPS. Here's my java version: [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ java -version java version "1.6.0_10" Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0_10-b33) Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 11.0-b15, mixed mode, sharing) This bug is related to a bug I filed against worldwind: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/worldwind/+bug/293448 However, after further thought it seemed to me this was probably a libjogl issue.
