I seem to have this problem, too. Searching for a term I know is in quite a few of my PDFs it only found references in related HTML files. The PDFs titles were indexed. just not their texts. It could be that the install is only a couple days old and Beagle might simply still be indexing as the

Hi Martin, Thank you for reporting this issue and helping to make Ubuntu better! I've installed Beagle on Intrepid, and I couldn't reproduce your issue! I've tried to search a word contained in a pdf file and it worked great for me! Could you please try with a fresh installation of Intrepid?
