I just completed compiling gtk+ with jhbuild on 8.10.
a. glib was missing a local copy of libtool, so I put the 8.10 copy (version
2.2.4) and it worked just fine.
b. gtk+'s local copy of libtool produced a corrupted intermediate file. I
