OK, all base files are attached now. I can't think of a reason to
attach the diff files that say identical, so I won't.
The problem occurs without any changes to dmesg or Xorg.0.log.

developer to begin work, I'm going to mark it as confirmed and let them
handle it from here. Thank you.

OK, just had the problem occur again. Absolutely no diff in dmesg or
Xorg.0.log. Can still navigate with the keyboard. xmodmap and xev show
nothing funky (xev does not receive mouse events). It appears no app
knows anything about the mouse (pointer does not change over window
edges/firefox
I'm seeing much the same behaviour as Jim Hendry. I usually have
Firefox open as well whenever it occurs, but it also happened me once
without Firefox open (though I did have Opera open).

section. After we have this info it can go onto Confirmed for the developers to
have a look at it.

Leaving as Incomplete.
I will forward this onto the developers when you provide the info.

I too have the same problem. After a couple of days mouse clicks stop
working while the mouse pointer continues to respond. The keyboard
works fine. Unplugging/re-plugging the mouse has no effect. Attached
are the the files requested by
