Many users are having the same issue.
Compiz have a blacklist file to report problematic video cards, and make compiz
don't be used in this cards.
I had a similar problem with my i845 card. I saw a post in Fedora
Forums that I thought addressed it and tried the fix. It worked for me.
Here's my edited xorg.conf file:

Identifier Configured Video Device
Driver intel
Option
